The Ashton Park Committee hosted the Ashton Christmas Walk on Saturday, Dec. 1 in downtown Ashton. In spite of the weather, many families visited Main Street and the Mills and Petrie Building where events were going on. Children were able to visit with Santa at the Ashton Village Offices, lots of people enjoyed a bowl of hot chili at the Lions Center, Cliff’s Donuts had hot apple cider donuts and more to eat. The St. John Preschool hosted its annual cookie walk and sold out early. Other businesses were open with special treats for the attendees. Many also enjoyed a ride on the horse drawn wagon. The lighted parade kicked off at 5:30 and strolling carolers and the Paw Patrol guys were hanging out on Main Street as well.
