Farm bureau foundation hosts 25th Anniversary Cash Bash


AMBOY – The Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation celebrated 25 years with a 25th Anniversary Cash Bash Celebration at the Post House in Dixon on Aug. 16. The Cash Bash Celebration honored the history of the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation, celebrated its accomplishments, gave the foundation an opportunity to thank its supporters and to look to the future and the many years of success that is to come. Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation scholarship recipients Lexi Meurer and Zachary Becker spoke to the crowd and thanked them for their support of the scholarship program.

The evening concluded with the Cash Bash Raffle drawing with the $5,000 Grand Prize winning ticket being awarded to Rick Brantner. 

Larry Hummel also won $500 for selling the Grand Prize ticket. The $1,500 second prize was awarded to Scott Brinkmeier of Dixon; $1,000 third prize went to Jim McCabe of Utica; $500 fourth prize went to Rex Meyer of Amboy, and the $250 fifth prize went to Gunnar Ortgiesen of Dixon.
