ASHTON — The AFC Lady Raiders varsity volleyball team was defeated 25-21, 25-8 by Dakota on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
For the Lady Raiders, Tristan Munroe had one ace, two kills, and three blocks, Callie Shrimplin had one ace, three kills, and eight digs, Natalie Sondgeroth had seven service points and five digs, Camdyn Penick had six assists, Kendall Sanford had four assists and Jaynee Prestegaard had four blocks.
The Lady Raiders are 1-4 in conference play.
In the sophomore game, AFC was defeated 25-7, 25-16 by Dakota.
For AFC, Kate Bass had three service points, Brittney Mundell had one kill and four assists, Hope Kaecker had one kill, Emily Berogan had six digs, Maddie Runkle had three digs and Alyssa Carter had one block.
In the freshman game, the Lady Raiders one the first match 25-23 and lost the second match 25-11.
For AFC Jessica Milligan had three aces, 11 service points and two assists, Anna Williams had two aces, Kate Bass had seven service points, Bailey Berogan had two kills and one block, Lyla Fike had two digs and Ellah Dorn had one block.
There was an excellent serving record by the entire team, 35/36 for 97 percent.
