CARMEL, Ind. — Marilyn Greenfield, of Carmel, Ind. Passed away on Nov. 13, 2018. She was born June 8, 1933 in Decatur, Ill., the daughter of Virgil and Enid David.
Marilyn graduated from Steven Decatur High School in 1951 and was an alumna of Brown Business College. Marilyn was an employee of Carmel Clay Schools for 46 years.
She is survived by step-mother Maxine David, Decatur; her husband of 50 years, Willard James Greenfield; daughter Cynthia Swain (Ronald) Robinson, Sterling Heights, Mich.; four grandchildren Ronald Robinson II, Chad (Jolie) Robinson, Kelly Robinson (Zack) Shepherd and Laura McDougal. She was a proud great-grandmother to seven: Aidan Spencer, Kayla Lynn, Peyton James, Danielle Rose, Sophie Ann, Lillian Mary and Beckett Ray.
She was preceded in death by her son William Randall Swain on April 12, 1991.
Marilyn was a wonderful storyteller, talented seamstress, skilled decorator and was the bedrock of her family.
