FRANKLIN GROVE — Tyler James Searing, one, of Franklin Grove, passed away unexpectedly, early Sunday morning on December 31, 2017, at KSB Hospital in Dixon. He was born December 26, 2016, in Sycamore, the son of Cullen and Melissa (Hart) Searing. Tyler enjoyed playing with his brothers and sisters and being cuddled by everyone, especially his parents. He was the happiest, most easy-going baby, and loved spending time with his family. Tyler warmed his way into everyone’s heart with his beautiful blue eyes, his adorable smile, and his sweet personality.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Cullen and Melissa Searing; his siblings, Lily (age 11), Jack (age 9), Audrey (age 6) and Brian (age 4) Searing, all of Franklin Grove; paternal grandparents, Bill and Debbie Searing of Sterling; maternal grandparents, Deb Beran of Franklin Grove and Jim Hart of Ashton; aunts and uncles, Katie (Adam) Gierhart of Peoria, Crystal (Nick) Good of Franklin Grove, Amber (Isaac) Dimmig of Dixon, Elizabeth (Todd) Wagner of Ashton, Kaley Hart of Dixon; cousins, Aiden Gierhart, Paxton and Dylan Good, Preston and Charlie Dimmig, Makenzie and Brycen Wagner.
Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Stan and Suzanne Hart and Jim and Donna Beran; his paternal great-grandparents, Toney and Charlotte Searing, Walter “Buck” and Leona “Lee” Laemmel; and his third cousin, Kaden Beer.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, in Dixon. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church in Dixon, with the Rev. Tim Mitchell and Rev. Heewon Kim, co-officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
