JV takes fourth in tournament

JV Oregon Tournament

The JV Lady Raiders had an exciting outcome with some tough battles throughout the week at the 2021 Oregon Tournament.  The Raiders started out with a big win over Mendota, with a final score of 38-13.  Freshmen Cameryn Winterland led the Raider's scoreboard with 12 points, while freshmen Audree Dorn put up tough Raider defense.  The Lady Raiders continued to move their way up the bracket with another big win against Genoa Kingston.  Sophomore Taylor Jahn led the Raiders to a 32-17 victory, with sophomore Alexis Schwarz following with 6.  Going into the final day of play, the Lady Raiders fell short to Dixon by 6, with a score of 32-38.  Sophomore Taylor Jahn led the Lady Raiders with 22 points, while sophomore Bri Gonnerman led the defense for the Lady Raiders.  The Lady Raiders continued to battle on for a 3rd place finish against Guilford.  Falling short of just three points in the final seconds of the game, with Sophomore Taylor Jahn adding 14 points and sophomore Bri Gonnerman another 8, landing the final score at 36-39.  The JV Lady Raiders proudly finished 4th overall in the Oregon Tournament.
