Lady Raiders have busy week

Senior Tatum Stroh hits a jumper over and Eastland Cougar defender.

 

Eastland Beats AFC Girls 60-38

The Eastland Cougars used their size advantage to win an NUIC conference game vs AFC.

Taylor Jahn led AFC with 21 points in the loss. Tatum Stroh added six and Alexis Schwarz had five.

 

Lady Raiders Win on the Road

The AFC Girls basketball team defeated the Fulton Steamers 31-27 in Fulton.

The Raider’s held off a fourth quarter rally by Fulton for the victory. Taylor Jahn had 12 points, Alexis Schwarz had eight points and Brianna Gonnerman added six.

 

Foul Trouble Sinks Raiders vs Forreston

The AFC girls lost a conference home game to the Forreston Cardinals by a score of 52-44.

The Raiders committed 25 fouls in the contest, resulting in 20 points at the free throw line for the Cardinals. 

Tatum Stroh and Taylor Jahn each scored 14 points in the loss. A great second half effort by senior Grey Contreras kept the game close. Contreras scored nine points in the half.

 

Raiders Great Effort on Senior Night Falls Short

The AFC girls’ basketball team lost 41-34 to the Polo Marcos on Senior Night at AFC. In front of a good home crowd the Raiders took a one-point lead into halftime. Taylor Jahn led all scores with 22 points and Alexis Schwarz added seven points.

 

Raiders Run Out of Gas Against Milledgeville

Playing their fifth straight game in as many days, the AFC girls basketball team lost to the Milledgeville Missiles 42-34. 

Tatum Stroh led AFC with 10 points. Taylor Jahn added nine points and Alexis Schwarz had seven points.
